Bus Trip Agenda/Itinerary

Meet up at GCC , 50 min bus ride (from Flushing)
9am – Departure from Glow Community Center (133-29 41st ave. Flushing, NY 11355)
10am – Arrival at CSTL (1450 Tanglewood Rd. Rockville Centre N.Y. 11570)

10:15am – Dinosaur hall exhibit & Conservation  – 45 min.
11am – Live Animal Show – In this program, students learn about animal adaptations, lifestyles, and conservation in the best way possible: by meeting live animals face-to-face!
11:45am lunch – Pizza – use time to talk about value of STEM programs, offerings from CSTL
12:30  – Aquatic Habitats; In this program, students explore freshwater habitats of the preserve. They’ll search for aquatic plants and animals in the pound at CSTL, and learn about the balance of these delicate habitats.

1:30pm – Departure from CSTL
2:30pm – Return to Flushing


Description:

Join us for a full day of hands-on activities at CSTL such as live animal shows, naturalist hikes, aquatic habitats experience, paleontology activities. Learn about animal adaptations in The Dinosaur! and the Animal Adventure museum experience. Families come face to face with animals, nature, and hands-on science! Come see how learning can be an adventure for the entire family outside of the classroom. Limited space, sign up online! Limited to 15 families on the bus.


Due to safety considerations, only one adult per child will be allowed to attend.

All attendees must have and wear their own masks. Attendees will not be allowed to participate if they do not have one. No exceptions will be made.
