Master Long Fei Yang
Hello, I am Master Long Fei Yang. From 6 years old, I studied under the instruction of my grandfather, Jian Ju Yang. He was a Yang style tai chi disciple and a traditional Chinese doctor. From him, I learned the Shaolin long fist form and tai chi quan. Additionally, he taught me traditional martial arts, Chinese painting, and calligraphy. After my grandfather, I also studied with 2 famous local masters, shan xi praying mantis master Shu Sen Li, and Tai Chi Chen-style master, Dong Ji Sheng. It was from them that my love and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture was conceived. Since my time with them, I’ve constantly promoted the traditional culture and philosophy I’ve grown to love. For 40 years, I have persistently been studying, training and teaching. I have over 3000 students across the world, namely from China, Japan, Europe, South Africa, South America, and North America. Many of them have participated in international martial arts competitions and won awards. Additionally, I have helped promote traditional Chinese culture through television and movies. Currently, I am living in the United States of America, yet when I do travel overseas, I also visit different schools of martial arts to exchange knowledge, share teaching styles, and make friends. It is from all my many years of experience traveling the world, teaching, judging competitions, exchanging philosophies and information, that I have managed to accrue the abundance of valuable knowledge I intend to share with you all.
