Lunar New Year is a great time to gather with family. The traditions have been passed down from generation to generation over thousands of years!
We are excited to offer a ‘Nian’ themed children virtual workshop on Sunday, February 14th at 2 pm. Children in the 3 to 9-year-old age group will learn the stories behind many Lunar New Year traditions through multiple arts and crafts activities.
In this workshop, we will be learning about
– Lunar Calendar and Zodiac
– Lunar New Year: Important days and traditions, the story of Nian monster
– Story of The Mouse Bride which is the perfect story for Valentine’s day
– Craft that you can follow along from home
