Cooking can provide many practical skills, such as reading, following directions, and measuring.  The pride and confidence that comes with mastering the finished product after cooking is even more meaningful.  The art of cooking can often be found as therapeutic for many.

1。Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs
Ingredients:
1 stick of fritters
1 Chinese Yam
1/3 cup corn starch
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 cups vegetable oil
1 tsp soy sauce
2 slice lettuce

2。Stir-fried Eel
Ingredients:
10 dried shiitake mushrooms
1 lb green ban sprouts
1/3 cup corn starch
1 carrot
1 handful cilantro
1/4 tsp sesame oil
2 cups vegetable oil
1/2 tsp soy sauce for seafood
1/4 tsp oyster flavored sauce
1/4 tsp black pepper powder

3。Okra Steamed Tofu
Ingredients:
10 okra
1 box tofu (firm)
1/4 tsp white pepper powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp sesame oil
