Chinese Chive Dumplings/Pocket
Filling:
- ½ pound (handful) chives
- 1 package vermicelli noodles
- ⅓ cup dried mini shrimp
- 5 eggs
- ¼ tsp salts
- ⅓ Cup olive oil
- ½ tsp white pepper
Dough
A. Leavened/fermented dough
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1.5 cups warm milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp oil
B. Dough made with boiling water
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
C. Unleavened/fermented dough
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 cup cold water
- ¼ tsp salt
