GCC Simple Cooking: Learn to make Three Steamed Dishes

Cooking can provide many practical skills, such as reading, following directions, and measuring.  The pride and confidence that comes with mastering the finished product after cooking is even more meaningful.  The art of cooking can often be found as therapeutic for many.

三道蒸菜
1)蒸地瓜葉
材料:
  • 1磅 地瓜葉
  • 1杯麵粉
  • 1根葱
  • 1個小米椒
  • 5粒蒜頭
  • 1/4杯陳醋
  • 1/3杯橄欖油
  • 1茶匙生抽
  • 1/2茶匙芝麻油
  • 1/4茶匙鹽
2)豆腐寶盒
材料:
  • 1油豆腐
  • 5朵香菇干
  • 1根葱
  • 1根香菜
  • 1杯碎肉
  • 1杯薺菜末
  • 1茶匙蠔油
  • 1茶匙香油
  • 1茶匙橄欖油
  • 1/4茶匙鹽
  • 少量蕃茄汁

 

3)水蛋蒸螃蟹
材料:
  • 3只螃蟹
  • 3只雞蛋
  • 1塊生姜
  • 2根葱
  • 1杯水
  • 1/3杯奶油果油
  • 1/4茶匙鹽
  • 1/4茶匙胡椒粉
  • 1茶匙蒸魚豉油

Three steamed dishes
 1) Steamed Sweet Potato Leaves
Ingredients:
  •  1 pound sweet potato leaves
  •  1 cup flour
  •  1 shallot
  •  1 millet pepper
  •  5 garlic cloves
  •  1/4 cup vinegar
  •  1/3 cup olive oil
  •  1 tsp soy sauce
  •  1/2 tsp sesame oil
  •  1/4 tsp salt
 2) Tofu Treasure Box
 Ingredients:
  •  1 packet fried tofu pouch
  •  5 dried shiitake mushrooms
  •  1 shallot
  •  1 cilantro
  •  1 cup ground meat
  •  1 cup minced shepherd’s purse
  •  1 tsp oyster flavored sauce
  •  1 tsp sesame oil
  •  1 tsp olive oil
  •  1/4 tsp salt
  •  Small amount of tomato juice
 3) Steamed Crab with Egg
Ingredients:
  •  3 crabs
  •  3 eggs
  •  1 ginger
  •  2 scallions
  •  1 cup of water
  •  1/3 cup avocado oil
  •  1/4 tsp salt
  •  1/4 tsp pepper
  •  1 tsp seasoned soy sauce for seafood
