The Chinese Family Forum held at the Glow Community Center Sunday afternoon 11/17/2019 from 12:30 – 4pm welcomed over 80 community families with resources.

Special speakers included District 25 Superintendent Danielle DiMango, MOIA Deputy Commissioner Sonia Lin, & Council Member Peter Koo.

Other partners include, Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, Alliance for Families with Developmental Needs, NY Regional Census Center, Citizens Commission on Human Rights, Chinese-American Planning Council, Garden of Hope, Department of Education Enrollment, Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, Asian Americans for Equality & Glow Community Center

Information on Special Education & Middle/High School Enrollment presented by the DOE gave parents the opportunity to get clarification on navigating the challenges they face through open forum Q&A, and personal one-on-one Q&A. Non-English speaking families were provided interpretation in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
